Happy Monday, Christmas Fanatics!
During Spooky Season 2026 here on "Tis the Podcast," we've made a conscious effort to pepper in a few undisputed horror classics in our lineup, and that trend continues tonight as Julia and Anthony sit down to discuss Sam Raimi's beloved 1981 film, "The Evil Dead." Often considered one of the best scary movies of all time - and the beginning of the most consistently well received horror franchise - does this movie live up to its reputation for the two elves? You'll just have to tune in to find out in a wide-ranging discussion in which they talk about everything from the amateur, low-budget filming of this movie to Sam Raimi's inability to write women. Trust us when we say, this is one episode you don't want to miss!
So settle back with your pumpkin spice lattes, relax, and enjoy while you can, because Spooky Season is nearly over and Christmas is just about upon us! Get excited!
